Arlen Specter announced today that he wants an independent probe into the accusations of the New England Patriots cheating in a Super Bowl that was played almost 10 years ago. Meanwhile, I filled up my car today and it only cost $70.00 at $3.55 a gallon. Same bullshit when our congress, of whom our taxes pay them $169 grand to work 8 months out of the year, calls a special session to investigate steroid use among Major League Baseball players. Hey Arlen (and the rest of congress): How about working on the surge of oil prices over the last FIVE YEARS, the pathetic state of the economy, and the horrific mortgage crisis going on in this country? Keep the federal government out of my football. We can take care of ourselves.
