Myspace recently changed things up a little. The "new design" isn't really all that new, there are a grand total of two changes. The new navigation is better than the old nav but it's still nothing to write home about. What is notable though is this story which points out how these changes will 'free up' space on the site for more ads. And who doesn't like more ads, I hardly ever notice the ads on myspace, especially the one where you can win a $50 Macy's gift card if you shave Brittney Spears' head before the timer runs out.There will be more changes coming to myspace in the next couple of weeks. Myspace has already added the applications feature to the site which is a direct rip off of Facebook. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery right?
My main complaint with the changes at myspace has to be it's insistence that I have new photo comments. Ever since this change went live at myspace I've gotten the message upon logging in that I have new photo comments... Clicking the link will of course take me to my photo page where everything is the same as last time.People don't appreciate my photos and tend not to comment on them. There is plenty about myspace that annoys me, this just the latest thing.
